The Yellow Submarine's free Tuesday night jazz series continues on the 18th when The New Orleans Function comes to town. Don't let the name fool you though - this group is Israeli born and bred. The only Big Easy thing about them is their style of music (they hope). Their repertoire runs through the best of early 20th century music - show tunes, love songs, and jazz, jazz, jazz, especially the Southern kind. Don't forget this is Jerusalem, not carnival (has the band even been to a Mardi Gras parade?), so leave your beads at home.
