Journalist turned author Matt Rees talks murder, mystery and mayhem PA-style at Tmol Shilshom on Sunday night, Nov. 23. Rees will be in discussion with Oren Nahari, editor of the Hebrew edition of his first novel, The Collaborator of Bethlehem. Rees, a native of Wales, served as Time magazine's Israel bureau chief for many years, where he became intimately familiar with the intricacies of Palestinian society. His friends on East Jerusalem's Saladin St. still make fun of his books, however, which may explain the West Jerusalem reading.
