Henry V (November 16)

Theater A Jerusalemite Pick Hama'abada (The Lab) Hebron St. 28 Old Train Station/Abu Tor 02-629-2000 maabada.org.il November 16 2008 20:30 100 NIS; 80 NIS students and soldiers; 60 NIS advanced purchase
The Bard arrives in Jerusalem (in English no less) when the Ma'abada presents his famous history, Henry V. The play, part of a tetralogy (that means four if you count Henry IV, part one and Henry IV, part two, as two separate plays) about the English Kings, follows Henry V's attempted invasion of France. Directed by Shannon Kisch, the Ma'abada performance has been a long time in the making, with a talented set of actors including recent immigrant Alan Leicht, formerly of New York. The play, somehow, will be performed with Hebrew subtitles. This is the final performance.
