One of the founders of the Barbur Gallery will have his own work put on display at the Jerusalem Artists House. Bezalel graduate and lecturer Avi Sabah has been noted for his paintings, which lend a Tim Burtonesque creepiness to Christmassy reds and greens. Sabah was awarded the 2008 Osnat Mozes prize for young artists, and his promise shows through in the disturbing and paradoxical paintings in the exhibit.
