It's Friends for the religious set and it's coming to the Cinematheque Thursdays in August. That's right, Srugim, the latest craze in Israeli television, which focuses on the lives of Katamon's religious singles (go Jerusalem! We've made the big time!) will be aired at the Jerusalem Cinematheque on consecutive Thursdays. The series closes out on August 28th with episodes 7, 8 and 9. The show's creators and actors will be on hand to talk with - and lend an air of celebrity - following each screening.
