The Summer Nights Festival (AKA Chofshi BaKayitz, "Free in the Summer") has already crewed the Yellow Submarine with Jerusalem's hottest rock bands and electro collectives for your free listening enjoyment - but the last concert of the festival marches to a different beat. A world beat. Fortunately for people for who actually like music, what the Yellow Submarine is calling "world music" is really simply international music, rather than bland synths 'n' crystals nature pop. Performing are the Terra Rosa Ensemble, Middle East-meets-west fusion types; Oy Division, a traditional klezmer outfit; marching band Marsh Dondurma; and TriBeat, enigmatically described as "energetic tribal music with funk, dub and trance influences."
