Singer/songwriter/storyteller Yael Badihi spent her childhood years in France, the child of the director of France's division of the Tzofim, a Jewish scouting program, and it was there that she first fell in love with French music. The music she heard in France profoundly influenced her Hebrew songs, and it is that cultural meeting that informs this concert, held on the patio of the singer's own home in Nataf, outside Jerusalem. Badihi will sing both French songs and her own songs that were inspired by them, augmented with relevant personal stories. Refreshments will be served.
