Today, with the advent of Disney on DVD and the Wii, such archaic amusements are no longer necessary, but if you happen to have both young children and a sense of nostalgia, head over to Beit Shmuel for a series of Shabbat activity workshops in which children will create old-school entertainment with their own two hands.
