Israel and France used to collaborate on arms development, but lately they've beaten their swords into plowshares and focused mostly on collaborating on a whole lot of movies - good ones, too. The latest combined effort to come down the line is last year's Restless, which tells the only-in-Israel story of a man who abandoned his wife and infant son in Israel in order to move to New York - only to years later have his grown son, a decorated soldier in an elite military unit, track him down and re-establish a connection after the death of his estranged wife. As a special bonus, the film's director and several of its actors will attend the screening and offer post-show commentary.
