Sure, Jewish-Arab relations have been, to put it lightly, somewhat fractious over the past century or so, but that hasn't stopped Jews from enthusiastically embracing aspects of Arab culture, from the kaffiyehs of early Zionist pioneers to the ubiquity of falafel to, more specifically, the Arabesque Dance Troupe. The troupe, joined by some special friends, will delight Beit Shmuelites with a colorful performance of classical Middle Eastern dance. Exposed midriffs for all - alhamdulillah.
