Recycling Room: Landscapes from Recycled Materials

Exhibits, Children A Jerusalemite Pick Israel Museum Ruppin Rd. Naot 02-670-8811 www.imj.org.il August 01 2008 - August 31 2008 Sunday-Thursday 10:00-14:30; Tuesdays 16:00-19:00; Fridays 10:00-13:00 10 NIS per child

From Tsfat to Eilat; from bubble wrap to bottle cap, Israel Museum encourages recycling. In honor of Israel's 60th anniversary, the Museum has designed an exhibit depicting key Israeli landmarks and landscapes made from recycled materials. What better way to admire our country than utilizing its waste to celebrate its beauty? Orbit wrappers, Prigat cans, Bisli bags, and more serve more than their intended purpose to keep our food fresh. Israel Museum's "Recycling Room" is a fun informal education experience for children to enhance their creativity and learn the 3 R's (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.)

July: Tuesdays 16:00-19:00; Fridays 10:00-13:00

August: Sunday-Thursday 10:00-14:30; Tuesdays 16:00-19:00; Fridays 10:00-13:00
