Kilimnick founded the Off The Wall Comedy Empire after making Aliyah and (rightfully) deciding that comedy is just what Jerusalem needs. His acts empathetically reflect social, communal, and religious issues. Kilimnick is author of the critically acclaimed one-man show, The Aliyah Monologues, seemingly a parody on, The Vagina Monologues. June 30 @ 20:30 (English) & July 3 @ 22:30 (Hebrew): Test out your best (and worst) material at Off The Wall weekly Open Mic Night every Monday in English and every Thursday in Hebrew. All types of humor-from cynical to slapstick to Seinfeld-are welcome. You not need perform, rather, just watch and offer your support to your fellow Jerusalemites who think they've got the comedy thing going on. Share in the development of Jerusalem based comedy every Monday night at the most renowned comedy club in Jerusalem. Besides lightly wounding your pride, what's the worst that could happen if you try? 15 NIS drink minimum purchase. July 2 @ 21:00 (Hebrew): Kilimnick, Jerusalem's funniest bachelor, promises that you will leave his show, "Find Me an Israeli Wife," entertained, enlightened, and, well, possibly with the performer himself (if you're lucky). 30 NIS (20 NIS students, soldiers, seniors) + 15 NIS drink minimum purchase. July 3 @ 20:30: Erev (meaning "eve") of July 4th celebration (as Jews do begin celebrating the night before). "America: Where is It?" is Kilimnick's rendition of life as a North American Jew...from an outsider's point of view. 35 NIS (30 NIS students, soldiers, seniors) + 15 NIS drink minimum purchase. July 3 @ 22:30 (Hebrew): Open Mic Night in Hebrew. (see above for details). July 6 @ 21:30: Improv Night: Partially designed for improv pros Phil Lavine and Yehezkel Laing to hand pick Jerusalem's new improv troupe. Phil Lavine looks forward to reliving some blissful memories from his nights chained to a cubicle at Jerusalem's biggest Anglo employer. "We believe that with good dieting and proper nutrition, improvisation can be a healthy part of a balanced diet," claims Yehezkel Laing (on behalf of the team, without their consent). *Please check back later this week for additional events
