This tour, under and the auspices of and guided by workers at the City of David archaeological site outside the Old City, offers a close look at how Jerusalemites collected their water long before we could just pump it from the Sea of Galilee and transport it around the country. You'll visit the ridge of Armon Hanatziv, where you can see the ancient aqueduct that brought water into the city during the reign of the Hasmoneans - and then, armed with flashlights, you'll actually get a chance to go inside. The group will meet at the Armon Hanetziv promenade at 10:00. Personal flashlights will be available from the tour guide for 3 NIS.
