Celebrated saxophonist Albert Beger hosts bass player and teacher Michael Klinghoffer as part of Daila’s ongoing series Vanguard: Music Without Borders. The evening concert will feature the two improvising and composing together for the first time. Beger, born in Turkey and educated at Rimon and Boston’s Berklee College, has been described as a musician of ‘superb’ and ‘emotive’ abilities by Ben Shalev of Ha’aretz.
