Get blessedby harry • April 21 2008
Ever yearn for the olden days of Temple sacrifice? Me neither. However, you too can relive a little bit of temple living tomorrow at the early hour of 8:45 am at the Western Wall when Kohanim (direct descendants of Aaron, the first high priest) will bless the rest of us. Chosen, we all are. Equally special, we all are not.
Get there early, as record numbers of worshipers and observers have showed up in droves the past few years and police were forced to close the plaza. Don't forget to dress modestly and bring a head covering. Also, keep in mind there is no shade in the Western Wall plaza and it is supposed to be quite hot tomorrow. Bring ample water.
While not recommended for Enochlophobics, it is an incredible site to see and one of the most intense ceremonies you may ever experience.
